This is a 2000 model Chevrolet 1-ton "Express" Van.
The Vortec 6000 V8 engine delivers 300 horsepower at 4400 rpm and 360 ft.-lb or torque at 4000 rpm. Highway mileage has been averaging 20 mpg during the life of the van. Virtually all miles on the van are highway miles. The van includes the heavy duty tow package, which includes transmission oil coller and frame mounted hitch carrier.
Heavy duty front and rear air conditioning keeps people and hounds cool and comfortable during all seasons. Insulation was added to side panels when the interior customization was done.
An auxillary marine grade battery provides power to cargo compartment accessories, and the battery is recharged during normal driving operations.
Extended wheelbase allows for a very smooth ride in comparison to other
extended models. Wheelbase is 155 inches with a total van length of 238.70
inches. Raised roof gives walk thru access to all crates and top shelves.
All door windows are pop-out for ventilation and tinted for privacy
